My boyfriend is interested in his new phone more than he is in me?

a few months ago, my boyfriend got what he calls an "upgrade of a lifetime". It was due for his uprgrade from his dingy broken phone to the brand new Evo which he percieves as the best phone out. Since he first got it, the phone was number one. I could hardly touch it, he would never put it down and even blamed me the first time he lost it claiming i left it in the cab! He was even crying telling me how much he hates me. Well about a week later, he got a new Evo again, nd the behavior continued..but he broke it by dropping it in the sink! Now, a few months later, he gets a new Evo again, well just yesterday that is. we waited at his house all day for it and when it came, i was ignored. I told him i wanted him to come home with me but denied my offer bbecause he had to clean up..i told him to start cleaning so by the time im ready, the house will be clean...but he said he was too busy setting up his phone...that really hurt me. Am i overreacting? Was i wrong for breaking up with him??
