Why wasn't R-Truth given a rematch?

I mean I know CM Punk is leaving and he deserves this at money in the bank. But why wasn't R-Truth even in the number one contenders match. I mean people like Cena, Orton, and Christian get countless rematches for the World titles. R-Truth should have at least gotten a rematch on Raw. Don't you guys agree he's a great athlete and deserves to be a champion! WWE writers are not giving their top talents the pushes they deserve!
