How do people get white t-shirts so clean?

I LOVE white and off whites and It is the worst thing I can wear. I always have stains and no matter how much I bleach them they never stay white for long. Besides the stains they are always soo dingy Can anyone help me on this,Id so appreciate it.Thank you.
