What has happened to Sami?

Anyone else just totally bummed that they have taken the smart and scheming Sami and turned her in to a half wit? I mean come on, what the hell was that today? She was trying to get the better of EJ and his engagement to Nichole by trying to make sure he knew about Nichole sneaking around with Brady, only, he already freakin knew?? Give me a break already! When are the writers gonna give Sami her balls back? Figuratively speaking.. The old Sami would do ANYTHING to pull it over on EJ to get those kids back.. The old Sami would have done something like, pretend that she forgives EJ for all he did to her and would go and pretend she wants to be with him, lower his defenses and get in to his good graces, that way, she could be with her kids, and in the house where he has the proof on her?? then she could find the proof and dispose of it. The old Sami would be matching him tic for tac. I am sick to death of this dingy Sami.. She can't even come up with a half way decent scheme/plot to get what she wants anymore.. Anyone else so ready to have the old Sami back???Do you think the writers will ever snap her out of it and bring her back to her old scheming self?
